Equipment & Capabilities

The tools Jeff brings, and what they mean for your door.

Jeff brings his own equipment, and he looks after it. A job that does not wait on a borrowed tool starts when it was supposed to start. The tools below are all in the truck. Please do not move them. They have an order.

Four-foot level

Straight, patient, and always in the truck. Jeff has named it Lenny.

Checked daily. Spoken to as needed.

Moving blankets

Doors travel wrapped. When the load allows, they travel seat-belted.

Washed after every job

Cordless drills, two

One for lag bolts. One for pilot holes. The third is for just in case, and has never been used.

Fully charged. Always.

The truck

Bed sized for eight-foot slabs. The back seat is reserved for samples. It still has Texas plates. Jeff is aware.

Dallas-built, Bentonville-driven

Stud finder

Locates the framing behind the drywall. Jeff finds it by tapping first, to be polite.

Used second

One soft cloth

For the door, after. Always the same cloth.

Do not borrow it

Jeff is ready
